The job holder will actively participate in devising, preparing, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements and contracts used in the Exploration & Production industry. The position is also responsible for the analysis and interpretation of relevant legislation and or draft bills, and interpreting and advising clients on contract provisions. In addition, he or she will assist the Legal Manager with and advise on pre-litigation phases and liaise with external counsel as appropriate in any litigation/arbitration case and settlement process. The Legal Counsel is to ensure the protection and defense of the Company's interest (and those of the Group and its affiliates) and promote their interests within E&P activities.
